Theraputic Services

Children

With specialized training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), I guide children (ages 2-7) through proven techniques that enhance focus, improve behavior, and strengthen their connection with you. For older kids (ages 8-12) I provide support for overcoming anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.

Teens

For teens I combine practical strategies with emotional support to help them feel more secure, build resilience, and develop healthier coping skills. Together, we work on strengthening their emotional well-being and empowering them to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

Adults

Leveraging specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other trauma-focused therapies, I equip adults with evidence-based techniques to effectively process trauma, reduce anxiety, and achieve significant relief.

Therapy Puppy

I’m so excited to introduce Willow, my therapy dog in training and the tiniest (but mightiest) member of my practice! At just 11 weeks old, Willow is already hard at work learning how to become a calm, supportive, and comforting presence in therapy sessions.

Therapy dogs can be incredibly helpful in the therapeutic process. A trained therapy dog can help reduce anxiety, support emotional regulation, increase feelings of safety, and make sessions feel more approachable—especially for kids, teens, and clients who may feel nervous or overwhelmed. Sometimes, having a gentle, wagging presence nearby makes it just a little easier to open up.

Willow is currently enrolled in a professional therapy dog training program, where she is learning foundational skills like obedience, focus, and appropriate social behavior, along with therapy-specific skills that prepare her to be in clinical settings. Her training emphasizes calmness, responsiveness, gentle interactions, and comfort around new people, sounds, and environments—so she can show up as her best, most regulated self.

As she grows and progresses through training, Willow may occasionally pop into sessions with client consent. My goal is for her to eventually become a fully trained therapy dog who can offer extra grounding, comfort, and connection as part of the therapeutic experience.

A Quick Reassurance

Your comfort always comes first. Having Willow present in session is completely optional. If you prefer not to have a dog in your session—for any reason at all, including allergies, fears, sensory sensitivities, cultural preferences, or simply personal choice—she will not be present. Therapy will always remain client-centered, and your needs and boundaries will be respected.

I’m excited to share Willow’s journey with you and, when appropriate, let her help make therapy feel a little softer, safer, and more comforting. See the FAQ’s page for more information.
